Our Story
Maesons' Soapbox began with a simple idea: to make books and storytelling more accessible while fostering creativity and sustainability.
Maesons Soapbox was inspired by my love of books and the sense of connection found in traveling bookstores. As an avid visitor of bookstores, I knew I would be giving something up when I made the move to a remote town in Western Australia, but the lack of access to books and diverse and relatable stories in regional towns, and really across the country, inspired me to start the Soapbox.
This is my way of sharing the joy of reading, making stories accessible, and supporting local literary culture.
